Congratulations on your beautiful new hair! Now its time to make sure your doing everything you can to get the longest life out of your extensions. Please follow our Hair Care Instructions.
Your Hair Care Steps:
1. Wait 24 hours before washing.
(Fusion Extensions Only)
2. Brush properly.
- Always brush when hair is dry using an Extension Brush (Tangle Teezer or Loop Brush).
- Avoid brushes with ball-tipped bristles.
- If brushing wet hair, use a wide-tooth comb only.
- Start brushing from the ends and work upward while holding hair in a ponytail to avoid pulling.
- Brush before showers, before bed, and throughout the day to prevent tangles
3. Wash gently.
- Wash every 2 days or less.
- Do not flip hair upside down or scrub aggressively.
- Shampoo only the roots/scalp, not the ends.
- Keep conditioner away from the bonds/scalp.
- Avoid letting your scalp get too oily. Use dry shampoo between washes if needed.
- If shampoo doesn’t lather between bonds, apply it directly to the scalp from the bottle.
4. Dry carefully.
- Pat or wrap hair with a towel, never rub.
- Air-dry or blow-dry with heat protectant.
- Always blow-dry the roots/bonds before sleeping. Wet roots cause matting..
5. Style safely.
- Style as usual but avoid direct heat on the bonds (they can melt).
- Use thermal heat protectant, leave-in conditioner, and a small amount of smoothing oil on the ends only, never on the bonds.
- Avoid saltwater and chlorine. If exposed, rinse and wash ASAP or wear a swim cap if you swim often.
6. Before Bedtime
- Brush extensions gently to remove tangles.
- Put hair in one or two loose braids or a loose high bun to prevent matting.
- Use a satin or silk pillowcase to reduce friction.
- Make sure roots are fully dry before sleeping to avoid tangling at the bonds.

TIPS
- Itchy scalp is normal for the first 1–2 weeks while your scalp adjusts.
- Sleeping may feel different for a few nights. Try sleeping on the side of your face for comfort.
- A few extensions may fall out. Keep any pieces and bring them to your maintenance appointment.
Maintenance Appointments
- Thin/Delicate Hair: every 6–8 weeks
- Medium Thickness Hair: every 8–12 weeks
- Thick/Strong Hair: every 12–16 weeks
- Fusion Extensions: not reusable (can reinstall if one falls out)
Why maintenance matters
You naturally lose about 100 hairs a day. As shedding occurs, fewer natural hairs hold the extension, which can cause stress or damage. Reinstalling extensions ensures fresh, strong hair supports the weight.
Never attempt to remove extensions yourself.
Improper removal can break your natural hair, especially with nanos and fusions.
